Who is more excited than me right now?

Clearly, no one.

I just got home from pottery and brought home two chalices. They're not perfect - but they're huge improvements over the first two I made. These are numbers three and four. The dark one is brown clay with Yim glaze. I love that glaze. The gold one is white clay with VC Bronze. It is a very regal looking glaze. It is gold with hints of cherry and white breaking through.

I trimmed two patens, three cups and a bowl that has a fantastic shape. I spent the rest of the night glazing pieces - one VERY small chalice (which, if I'm lucky, will be able to be used by a four year old), six candle stick holders and one platter (or plate if it shrinks considerably).

I'm raising a chalice to ongoing improvement in the coming months.

Wow. You worked on a whole mess of stuff! I love the chalices! The color of the darker one is fantastic, and I love the twisting on the stem of the gold one. Nice job, Mollo!

Fantastic Work, Jimmy!
They look great!

You'll have to ask my Parents
about the "throwing wheel" my Dad made for my mom :)

Well, well, well, if it isn't little Jimmy and his pottery. Good job, kiddo! I think you get a gold star!

I like the darker one, too. I think it will compliment the St. Paul's Blue(s)

Oh, I'm so sad that Elizabeth didn't jump in to tease you, Jimmy, as we had predicted...
