Construction

The Contractor (a former Pru employee that I know) came to start our new deck yesterday. It took them two days to tear down the old second story deck as well as a three seasons room. Three seasons room was actually a misnomer. There weren't any windows in the room that opened, so in the spring, summer and fall it was unbearably hot. In the winter we made ice cubes out there. In three years we never used the room.

It will be added space for the deck. We're looking forward to our first cup of coffee out there on a Saturday morning. Kim is also looking forward to an evening cocktail out there (post delivery of course).

I'll post more pictures as the project progresses.

Ha. Yes. Go back and read the sermon I posted on June 29th - that will tell you everything.

We're due Dec 10th.

You are a brave man - doing this and then going on vacation. Or, maybe I've got it all wrong. Maybe that's EXACTLY the way to do it.

Anyway, have fun on vacation and on your new deck
