And they bowed...




O and I looked through all of her recital videos and she wanted this one posted too! I'm not precisely sure what this song is or what language it is (I think it's French, K thinks it's Dutch). I think the story in the song is about a poor family who go to the fair. They don't care that they don't have money and bow to everyone they meet. Or it could be about a bunch of kids with the bends - who knows?!

I think this is my favorite too. It reminds me of that old Hassidic teaching: "When you see a person coming toward you, bow, because in front of him/her are thousand upon thousands of angels singing, 'Behold the image of God! Behold the image of God.'"
